The season premiere of True Blood made me remember of a writing test that I had to submit in order to get my current job at Entertainment Benefits Group (EBG). EBG manages numerous destination sites and one of them is Best of Vegas.
My assignment was to write a blog post for the Best of Vegas “What’s Hot” blog. True Blood’s premiere reminded me of how much fun I had writing this post, so I’d like to share it.
Please know that this post, written a year ago, is entirely made up – I was encouraged to be creative and make things up if needed. The only truth to this post is that Best of Vegas does indeed sell tickets to the sultry vampiric show, BITE:
Ever come to Vegas and feel so sinful you could just bite someone? Your desire to sink your teeth into the city’s seductiveness will only be fueled by the deliciously fun and sexy vampires in “BITE.”
With its classic rock tunes and sultry dancing, this erotic Las Vegas show will engulf your senses, making you feel like an 18th century vampire while following Lord Vampire on his quest to find and seduce a woman suited to be his queen.
Be warned, however, that if fate deems it so, you may be summoned up to the stage to serve as a human sacrifice, we mean participant. After all, Lord Vampire is in search of his Queen of the night and will stop at nothing until he finds her.
BITE is the first and only vampire show in Las Vegas and has been tantalizing audiences for over seven years with its superhuman feats of strength, mysterious magic and topless performances.
Be on alert, dear mortals, as it has been rumored that actual vampires have been spotted lurking in the dark corners of the Stratosphere Casino and Hotel’s Theatre of the Stars to catch a glimpse of this highly talked-about performance. Not even the cast members of HBO’s hit series “True Blood” and the CW’s “Vampire Diaries” can resist the biting temptation of this Las Vegas show; sightings of Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Ann Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Deborah Ann Woll are proof that BITE can whet the appetite of humans and immortals alike.
In celebration of True Blood’s Emmy Award nomination, BITE’s slaves are invited to savor the mouth-watering, fang-inducing True Blood beverage. Ask your server for the specialty drink of the night and prepare to enjoy one of human’s most delectable offerings: blood.
BITE may release you after keeping you hypnotized with its sexual tension after two hours, but you may not be able to release BITE.
For $49.45, mortals can rock out, bark at the moon and get bitten at BITE six nights a week at 9 p.m. at the Theatre of the Stars in the Stratosphere Casino and Hotel.
